ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Mr. Ebenezer Caurie is a Ghanaian who had his early education in Rhode Island in the United States of America where he was with his parents and the rest of his family. They later returned home to Ghana where he continued his education at the prestigious Achimota Secondary School.  His parents once again moved to Nigeria and the young Ebenezer had to join them and complete his Secondary education in Nigeria. He later got Admissions to study Math/Statistics at the University of Agriculture, Makurdi, in Nigeria. Mr. Caurie got his idea of forming an organization which he hoped would educate, sensitize and create awareness in the public to the hazards in drug abuse and HIV/AIDS which he had foreseen would be a global problem, way back in 1989.  It was on his return to Ghana that the opportunity arose for him to establish his dream which with the support of his father, Prof. Matthew Caurie, formed the Movement for Anti-Drug Abuse (MADA). Mr. Ebenezer Caurie is presently in U.S.A persuing an undergraduate programme in International Business Management. As the Executive Coordinator of the organization he still sees to the affairs of the organization with help from his acting co-ordinator.
